The Huizer Kaas-Gilde Premium Purple labelis matured for around 12 months. This cheese usesa special type of starter-culture which gives the cheese it’s distinct and sweeter flavour. Due to the slightlydifferent maturation process of the cheese, thecheese is still nice and creamy, but has a rich and sweet-piquant flavour.
